Paul van Bellen of Gazelle Bicycles Australia travels regularly to the Netherlands so is in the prefect position to make the comparison between the way Australians and the Dutch each do their shopping. After his most recent trip he was inspired to make this video, comparing how each gets to their local supermarket. What is really interesting is that we all seem to be making the same trip, the same distance, and for the same reasons. The only difference is that the infrastructure in one country supports the use of motor cars, while in the other, it supports the use of bicycles.
