Calling all chaps, dandies and bon vivants. Gear up for a weekend of cycling revelry and high fashion in ‘vintage’ Rutherglen. The Sweet Cycle is a gentle 25-kilometre ride through picturesque countryside in three leisurely stages.
Cycling is dotted with three unforgettable epicurean experiences. The ride will stop at Jones Winery for a lavish morning tea, on to Pfeiffer Wines for a luncheon to remember, finishing with a sunset amble in the olive grove at The Wicked Virgin.
Participants are encouraged to step out in vintage style (think tweed, plaid skirts, op shop glamour) and retro bikes will be more than suitable on this gentle 25km loop.
The Sweet Cycle is on Saturday May 17th 10.30-4.00 You can check all the details and find the number for bookings at High Country Harvest.
