Road bike start-up SpeedX has returned to crowdfunding to get the company’s second smart bicycle off the ground. It’s called the SpeedX Unicorn, and it’s a computer-equipped bike that is built for a super smooth ride and costs $3,199.
The first bike ever to be equipped with VCS, the SpeedX Unicorn allows you to absorb bumps and smooth out vibrations, while improving comfort, control and speed. But eliminating a bumpy ride is along just the beginning with this bike — the world’s first with an integrated power meter.
Together with its built-in sensors and GPS, you can live-track your cycling data on the SpeedForce, a 2.2” inch touchscreen cycling computer. Now for many cycling enthusiasts this bike may seem a little too fancy, and expensive, but you simply can’t deny the how cool this new development in cycling gadgetry is – check it out on Kickstarter.
