Coming on 28 and 29 September 2019, the Maldon Classic will celebrate classic steel bikes and raise funds for the Maldon Hospital.
The program for the Maldon Classic 2019 follows:
Saturday 28 September
2pm to 4pm – 40-kilometre ride from Maldon Vintage Machinery Museum – Vincents Road, Maldon
2pm to 5:30pm – set-up for display of bikes at the Machinery Museum
7.15pm for 7.30pm – screening of The Bikes of Wrath with Maldon Golden Movies Film Society at Maldon Neighbourhood Centre – Cnr Church and Edward St, Maldon
Sunday 29 September
10am to 12 noon – set-up for display of bikes at the Machinery Museum
10:30 am to 12 noon – 35-kilometre ride with gravel and shorter options from the Machinery Museum
12 noon to 2:30pm – display of classic steel bikes at the Machinery Museum
2:30pm to 4pm – local ride (about 15 kilometres) to historic places of interest around Maldon from the Machinery Museum
