MAAP opens Melbourne HQ and retail space

Premium cycling apparel brand MAAP have opened their new HQ and retail space in Melbourne, Australia.

MAAP’s new digs are located in a converted warehouse in North Melbourne, and embody what the brand is all about, according to MAAP Co-founder and Director Ollie Cousins.

“20 Vale Street is a hub for cyclists, a home for our latest range, and an inspiring environment for our staff to work in.”

Visitors can make use of the in-store bike racks, pull up a stool and enjoy a coffee and pastry whilst immersing themselves in all things MAAP. Weekly MAAP orchestrated rides also depart from the new HQ.

“Since entering the market in 2014, we’ve been on the lookout for a suitable space that compliments the ethos of our brand, and the quality of our garments and accessories”, says fellow Co-founder and Director Jarrad Smith.

MAAP’s collections are designed at their Melbourne HQ, and manufactured in Northern Italy using Italian and Swiss fabrics. This partnership is encapsulated beautifully with the store’s excellent on-site barista-made coffee, using a Milan manufactured ROCKET coffee machine and Melbourne-based Proud Mary beans. Pastries are delivered daily from Melbourne’s Cobb Lane Bakery.

Within the contemporary aesthetic of the store, striking imagery from MAAP photo shoots and curated rides adorn the walls.

The MAAP store is open Tuesday to Friday 7:30am – 6pm, and Saturday’s from 9am to 3pm.

More information regarding MAAP’s retail store can be found on their website.
