The City of Sydney is putting on two free outdoor film screenings where you can provide the power to keep the projector running via stationary bike. On 16 and 17 November at Harold Park, visitors are encouraged to bring picnic rugs (and pedalling legs) to view two films – details below.
Saturday 16 November, 7:00pm
2040, by award-winning director Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film). This film looks at what our planet could like by 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us.
Sunday 17 November, 7:00pm
The Final Quarter. This highly acclaimed documentary holds a mirror up to Australia, using archival footage to look at the controversial treatment of AFL star, Adam Goodes.
Of course, you can’t watch a movie without snacks – the nearby Tramsheds will be dishing up tasty treats.
