Good Cycles in Geelong has announced a DIY Bike Repair night on Thursday, June 13 for anyone who wants to learn some new skills and tinker with their bikes.
Good Cycles bike mechanic and trainer, Tom Allen said, “The community of Geelong are really keen to get hands-on and learn more about how they can fix their own bikes. It is a great opportunity for us at the Good Cycles Community Bike Hub to invite the community in to see what we do and fix their bike[s] with plenty of the right tools.”
“Everyone is welcome and we’ll have a few people on hand to share their skills.”
The DIY Bike Repair Space will be held at the Good Cycles Geelong Community Bike Hub, in Centrepoint Arcade to coincide with a Creative Geelong exhibition on the evening of Thursday, June 13.
Community members can bring along their own bike or tinker with a donated bike on the night.
The DIY Bike Repair Space costs $5 per person and runs from 6pm – 8pm, Thursday, June 13. To book a spot, you can pop into the Community Bike Hub, call Tom on 0468 853 240 or email [email protected].
