Now in its fifth year, the Giro della Donna is a weekend-long festival of road and gravel cycling based in the Yarra Valley town of Warburton. From 23 – 24 November 2019, visitors will be treated to food, drinks, entertainment and, of course, plenty of cycling just 90 minutes east of Melbourne.
The titular event is scheduled for Sunday 24 November, a 125-kilometre route that starts Warburton and finishes at the top of Mt Donna Buang. Including climbing, a 13-kilometre gravel sector and a true mountain-top finish, the ride is described as a “challenge for any cyclist, but can be enjoyed by all”.
On top of that is the 55-kilometre Gravel Giro on Saturday 23 November. And because life is all about balance, riders are invited to Coppi Dinner on the Bridge to enjoy the gastronomic delights of the Yarra Valley.
Earlybird entries are open till midnight Sunday 1 September.
