The Dirty Deeds CX Season is kicking off again and the first event of the season is a women’s skills session. Dirty Deeds have worked hard at ensuring that their series is effective at attracting female riders and these skills sessions have been an important part of that. Each year the women’s field is growing and the girls and guys at DDCX headquarters would love to see that trend continue.
The Women’s Skills Development session is a low key, fun session that takes you through some of the basic moves to get you set for the season. Sessions cater for all skill levels from those who are new to cyclocross to those who want to build on their mad skills from last year.
If you are keen to get involved in cyclocross this is the perfect opportunity to quickly develop some skills that will allow you to enter upcoming races with confidence. Or if you have been sleeping in the same room as your cx bike all summer and dreaming of mud, come along and show off that dismount you have been practising.
All you need to bring is a bike you can haul over barriers, water and weather appropriate gear.
When: Saturday 5th April, 10am – 12pm
Where: Darebin Parklands, meet by the rangers shed
