Victoria’s High Country Harvest is a regional wide event with a pretty fantastic program of cycling activities. Held in May, the festivities are located in the north east of Victoria, bordered by the Australian Alps, Murray River and rolling river valleys to the south.

Several events showcasing the region’s spectacular landscapes have caught our eye – ranging from leisurely or ‘hardcore’ to wined or dined, there’s plenty of options to get everyone into gear.

A winding produce trail through ‘Wandi’, Wear your wellies invites you to don your gumboots and join a gentle cycling adventure tracing the rich history of Wandiligong. Visit farm gates, see local art and stop for morning tea, wood-fired pizza and a hearty Autumn pub lunch.

Next up is the Whistlestop High Tea. Cycle from Huon Reserve on Lake Hume to Tallangatta on the High Country Rail Trail feasting on a progressive homemade high tea at station stops along the way. Take in spectacular Lake Hume views as you journey over the iconic Sandy Creek Bridge into Tallangatta.
