The Leukaemia Foundation is inviting cyclists to join its week-long cycling challenge next April and help raise funds for the 60,000 Australians currently living with blood cancer.

The 2018 Ride As One for Blood Cancer will take cyclists through the stunning countryside and challenging hills around Adelaide, including the picturesque McLaren Vale and historic Barossa Valley.

From April 11-18 cyclists will Ride As One for Blood Cancer for more than 840 kilometres and together they’ll take on many of Adelaide’s most iconic, internationally known climbs.

This fully supported cycling event is run by the Leukaemia Foundation and is only open to 80 riders. Cyclists will face 12,700 metres of climbing elevation over six gruelling and rewarding stages.

“Ride As One is the opportunity to take on the challenges of South Australia’s world-renowned winding roads and hills, all while helping to raise vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation,” Ash Knop, Leukaemia Foundation’s General Manager of Victoria and Tasmania, said.

“The going will be tough, but so are the battles that face people with blood cancer, every day,” Ash said.
