Its not like you’re going to need any extra reasons to get along to the most awesome Freo Tweed Run but just in case, this year there are plenty. Sponsored by the City of Fremantle, Dismantle are hosting their fourth annual Freo Tweed Run on Sunday November 3rd. That gives you just enough time to throw together something fabulous and polish your spiffiest set of wheels!
The event champions style over speed, as participants don their dapperest attire and join in a leisurely ride, engaging in frivolity and fun along the way. This year, the Tweedsters will gather at Pioneer Park from 12pm for a picnic and games on the lawn. The ride sets off at 2pm for a leisurely wander through the streets of Fremantle, to arrive at the North Fremantle Bowls club around 3pm for the after party.
Sponsored by Hendrick’s, the after party will feature a fully-fledged gin bar, sliced cucumbers and all. We will be hosting a fabulous Instagram competition, details of which will be released on the day, but here’s a hint; make sure you’re looking your best and bring your phone! There will also be a food van or two, games of barefoot bowls, as well as the ten-piece electro-swing band Ensemble Formidable.
