Finding a way to store your bike in your home without ending up with bike-shed chic is always a challenge. The Bike Rest is a Brisbane couple’s answer to that problem. WORK SHOP OBJECTS is a collaboration between a builder and an architect and Bike Rest is just one of the pieces they have worked on.
Designed and made by hand in Newstead, Brisbane, Bike Rest is built of Australian sourced and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified timber plywood and finished in a clear bees wax. You can also have a version made in Australian hardwoods to match your interior. Bike Rest comes with a leather sling and everything you’ll need to install at home together with a care pack for keeping it looking good.
