A highlight of our recent trip to Tokyo was meeting the guys from Resistant.
Kimura Shinichi runs a messenger company in Roppongi, Tokyo and has spent enough time mending messenger bags to know what's wrong with them and exactly what's right. So much so that he started making his own.
Resistant has grown. Top of the line courier bags are made from ultra-tough materials and strapping with cavernous interiors and bitumen-resistant exteriors.
As well as these there are less heavy duty, but no less in quality, messenger bags of varying sizes and smaller satchels, pouches and tool rolls.
Make sure you check out their website and blog. They're both in Japanese but the guys take orders from overseas and are happy to answer any questions about their products in English via email. We love the white on white bags!
