With Ride 2 Work daycoming up  again soon, its time to dust off the treadlie. Whether its your first time riding to work, or you’re getting back on the bike after a winter hiatus, October 15th is theperfect ocassion to discover  just how much better it is to get to work by bike!

Whether you ride the whole way or ride to the station/tram stop/bus stop the secret to happiness lies in those precious minutes on the bike so if you haven’t yet given it a shot then this is the perfect time to do so. Check out your local council, bike organisation or even your workplace to find a local Ride 2 Work Breakfast, tips and tricks or people to ride with.

The City of Maribyrnong in Melbourne are just one local council supporting the event with a  breakfast at the entrance to Shepherd’s Bridge. There’ll also be spot prizes on the day from Treadlie and other bike-friendly businesses so if Shepherd’s Bridge is en route to your workplace or local railway station, make sure you drop in!

Meanwhile in Sydney Ride 2 Work day falls conveniently within the Sydney Rides Festival so there will be plenty of ways to celebrate your commute on two wheels.
