H’eroica

Heroica

On Sunday October 5th the Adelaide Cyclists H’eroica ride is back for its fourth year.

Inspired by Italy’s annual L’Eroica, H’eroica is for the heroes of the Adelaide Hills. The Adelaide Hills  with hidden unsealed roads and ever-opening expanses of hills and less car traffic seems the perfect location for just such a ride. This event’s aim is to be fun, inspiring, eye opening, a bit of a challenge as well as including non riding family and friends in a get together. Riding the unsealed roads of the ‘Little Italy’ region of the Adelaide hills – Norton Summit to Lenswood, it’s not a race or even a lot of kilometers, it’s just a bit of a ride with a difference. Like L’eroica, you are welcome to ride in vintage cycling gear. We leave Norton Summit at 9.15 am (Magill 8.30 am).

Stopping at Anderson Hill winery (formerly Yangoora), Lenswood, at around 11 am there will be pizza from the wood fired oven as well as cheese platters and home-made cakes and coffee. Spouses, friends and families are encouraged to meet you there.

Check out all the details about the day, what bike to ride and what to wear at the event page.
