Building a cycling city

The City of Melbourne have made some big improvements for riders over the past few years, especially commuters, and this is reflected in the growth of cycling as a commuting mode of transport over the same period.

They are now in the process of putting together the Draft Bicycle Plan for 2016-2020 and this is your opportunity to tell them what works, what doesn’t and what needs to be done. They are especially interested in hearing from people who might be interested in using a bike in the city but aren’t yet doing so. What would it take to get them onto a bike?

CrowdSpot have set up one of their interactive maps especially for this project and you can use it to share your input and comment on what others have suggested. Make sure you share it with some of your friends who don’t yet ride and get their feedback on what needs to be done to get them onto  a bike in Melbourne. You can have your say here.
